The Kirstbierfestival is a Christmas Beer Festival held each year in Essen, Belguim. O.B.E.R. (Objective Beer tasters Essen Region) organizes its Christmas Beer Festival every year for more than 3000 beer lovers. At this festival over a period of two days visitors can taste more than 150 Belgian Christmas and winter beers.

Well unfortunately we are not even close to Essen, Belguim, but here in Galena, Illinois we dont let that bother us for more than about two minutes, because we have created our own Kirstbiefestival. Yes, right here at the Galena Brewery over a period of 6 hours you will be able to taste at least 16 of the best brews of Midwest Christmas beers in the 3rd ever Galena Kirstbier Festival.

Come and have some fun down at the brewery, quench your deep desire for Christmas ales, and mellow to the sounds of The Midwesterners classic rock band, starting at 7:30pm till late.
